Since 1986, the Houcon Group has been an independent organisation specialising in manufacturing, repair, modification and maintenance of internal transport equipment, hoisting machines and leverages, spare parts for offshore installations and related means of transport.

Continuous growth since the company was founded necessitated a clear subdivision into a number of independent subsidiaries:

Houcon Construction Services B.V. and Houcon Cargo Systems B.V.

Both subsidiaries are located in Oud-Beyerland, approximately 10 kilometres from the port of Rotterdam and 65 kilometres from the port of Antwerp.
